Welcome to Women’s Audio Mission (“WAM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Women’s Audio Mission website, including womensaudiomission.org, and any related online services, content, registration pages, forms, and digital experiences operated by WAM (collectively, the “Website”).

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. About WAM

Women’s Audio Mission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women and gender-expansive people in music, audio production, creative technology, and related fields.

Through the Website, WAM may provide information and access to educational programs, classes, workshops, events, memberships, studio services, recordings, job opportunities, merchandise, donations, and other programs and services.

Certain programs, classes, events, studio services, purchases, or memberships may be subject to additional terms, policies, registration requirements, or agreements. Where applicable, those additional terms will apply to your use of the relevant service.

2. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

You may share links to WAM’s Website for noncommercial purposes provided that you do not misrepresent WAM’s relationship with you or suggest that WAM endorses or sponsors your organization, product, or service without permission.

4. WAM Trademarks and Branding

Women’s Audio Mission, WAM, WAMCon, and other WAM names, logos, slogans, graphics, and branding elements may be trademarks or protected intellectual property of WAM or its licensors.

Nothing on the Website grants you permission to use WAM’s trademarks or branding without prior written authorization.

Community groups, individuals, organizations, or other parties may not represent themselves as official WAM chapters, representatives, programs, or affiliates without written authorization from WAM.

5. Educational Programs, Classes, and Events

Information about classes, workshops, academies, conferences, performances, and other events is provided for general informational purposes and may change.

WAM reserves the right to:

  • Change instructors, dates, times, locations, formats, or program content.
  • Cancel or postpone a program or event.
  • Limit enrollment.
  • Establish eligibility or participation requirements.
  • Remove a participant from a program when necessary to protect the safety, dignity, or experience of participants, instructors, staff, or guests.

Registration, payment, cancellation, transfer, and refund terms may vary by program. The specific terms presented during registration will govern the applicable registration.

6. Studio Services

WAM provides professional recording, production, engineering, and related studio services. Studio bookings are subject to WAM’s current studio rates, policies, availability, and booking requirements.

Additional studio policies may apply to matters including:

  • Deposits and payment.
  • Cancellations and rescheduling.
  • Studio access.
  • Equipment use.
  • Damage to equipment or facilities.
  • Overtime.
  • Guests and visitors.
  • Recording and file storage.
  • Engineer and producer services.
  • Use of WAM facilities and equipment.

Clients are responsible for reviewing applicable studio policies before booking.

7. User-Submitted Information and Content

Certain areas of the Website may allow you to submit information, including contact forms, applications, event registrations, job postings, testimonials, photographs, comments, or other materials.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to provide any content you submit.
